Because making new friends as a grown womxn should NOT be this hard.

The Crowded Table Club is the Triangle’s curated themed event series for ALL womxn and femme presenting and identifying people to make NEW friends. We go the extra mile to create events with authentic themes that say “you are seen” and lean into playful moments that jump-start connection.

Purpose

Walking into a room full of strangers knowing the clear purpose of the event is to make NEW friends helps disarm ourselves to be open and vulnerable

Vibes

Highly themed events with details in the decor, programming and party favors helps provide confidence and transparency to attendees on what to expect

Support

Pre-event surveys allow for "matches" to make sure that you have at least 2-3 people in the room who have similar interests as you, and are color-coded on name tags

When I moved to Raleigh from NYC at 32, I found it very difficult to make new friends as a married, child-free Millennial new to the city.

While in NYC, I was apart of every women’s group known to womankind and working at large companies like Verizon Media and Conde Nast, and still found it hard to turn professional connections into a night out for drinks or a coffee walk with someone.

Yoga classes were for yoga. Networking events were career-focused.

So I asked myself, what if... we had an intentional space for only making NEW friends?...
